Between 1969 and 1972, six Apollo missions accomplished what had seemed impossible for centuries: landing humans on the surface of the Moon. The six orbital trajectories running through the composition represent the Lunar Orbit Rendezvous (LOR) maneuvers, the groundbreaking technique that made the success of the Apollo program possible.
