Total Solar Eclipse / August 12, 2026 / Spain / Free Entry
Solar eclipse glasses with ISO certification
On August 12, 2026, Spain will experience a solar eclipse under extraordinary conditions — a once-in-a-generation event. To observe it safely and in style, we’ve created certified eclipse glasses that combine protection and design. Because for a day like this, it’s not enough to just look at the Sun: you have to do it with style.
If you want more information about the eclipse, you can find it here.
Why do you need certified glasses to observe an eclipse?
To observe an eclipse, it is very important to use certified solar observation glasses, because the Sun emits extremely intense radiation that can seriously damage your eyes in just a few seconds. Looking at it without proper protection can cause retinal burns, permanent vision loss, or blindness.
Using homemade methods or regular glasses does not protect your eyes and can create a false sense of security. Our glasses effectively block UV and infrared rays, allowing 100% safe observation. The only thing you will see with these glasses is the Sun.
PROTECT YOUR EYES
They're the only ones you have.
Our Certified Glasses
Our glasses are certified and comply with ISO 12312-2:2015, designed to filter visible light as well as ultraviolet and infrared radiation, reducing the risk to your eyes.
They feature a high-strength laminated cardboard frame, making them durable, sweat- and water-resistant, and resistant to fading or cracking when folded. The lenses are made from 0.16 mm black PET, with UV protection and a filter specifically designed for direct solar observation. They come in two sizes, depending on how they fold, to fit both children and adults comfortably.
With our solar glasses, you can safely protect your eyes and observe the Sun directly during the different phases of the eclipse, always in short intervals and never for more than three continuous minutes.
Our designs
All of our glasses meet the same certification, but they are available in four different designs and are always sold in packs of four.
You can also choose the Eclipse Cuartet, which includes one of each design. All glasses come protected in a flat box, designed to prevent bending or scratching and to keep them in perfect condition.
Frequently asked questions
Are these glasses safe for watching the eclipse?
Yes. They comply with the international standard EN ISO 12312-2:2015, which regulates filters for direct solar observation and ensures protection against UV, IR, and harmful visible light.
What materials are they made of?
Our glasses feature a high-strength laminated cardboard frame, making them durable, sweat- and water-resistant, and resistant to fading or cracking when folded. The lenses are made from 0.16 mm black PET, with UV protection and a filter specifically designed for direct solar observation.
Do they only filter visible light?
No. They also block ultraviolet and infrared radiation, as required by the ISO 12312-2 standard for safe use.
Are they suitable for children and adults?
Our glasses can be adjusted with two different folds to fit both large and small faces, making them perfect for adults and children alike.
Can I wear them with over prescription glasses?
Yes, they can be worn over prescription glasses, as long as they fit properly on the face.
What is their lifespan?
As long as they are not scratched, pierced, deformed, or damaged, they can be reused. If they show visible wear, they should be replaced.
What certifications do they have?
They are certified to ISO 12312-2:2015 and also comply with REACH, among other standards, ensuring quality and safety.
What does the ISO 12312-2:2015 standard require?
This standard requires that the glasses block UV and infrared radiation as well as most harmful visible light, ensuring safe transmission for solar observation. It also mandates filter quality and uniformity, material durability, and proper product labeling with usage instructions.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
Inspection before use
Check your glasses before each use. Do not use them if they are damaged, broken, pierced, or detached from the frame in any way.
Exclusive use
Do not combine them with other devices. These glasses are not a toy. Children should only use them under adult supervision.
Usage time
Maximum recommended continuous use is 3 minutes, intermittently over several hours.
Precautions during use
While observing the eclipse, do not move around, drive, or operate machinery.
Eye health conditions
Do not use the glasses if you have any eye condition or have recently undergone eye surgery.
WATCH OUT:
Never look at the Sun without special eye protection. When viewing the eclipse, always use eclipse glasses. Direct sunlight can cause permanent eye damage if proper precautions are not taken. Clean with a soft cloth. Do not use after 3 years.
